The city of Halle (Saale) has a beautiful tale about the salt, having roots as remotely as the bronze Age. Salt production had a major role in the economic development of Halle.

After a visit to the remarkable “Sal Museum”, we had the chance to interview the museum’s director, who told us about the forms of production, the brotherhood of the salt workers still active in Halle and how this commonly used cooking element was used as a currency as important as gold.

La ciudad de Halle (Saale) tiene una bella historia sobre la sal, que tiene raíces tan remotas como la Edad del Bronce. La producción de sal tuvo un papel importante en el desarrollo económico de Halle.

Después de una visita al notable "Museo de la Sal", tuvimos la oportunidad de entrevistar al director del museo, quien nos contó sobre las formas de producción, la hermandad de los trabajadores de la sal todavía activos en Halle y cómo se usó este elemento de cocina comúnmente utilizado como Una moneda tan importante como el oro.
